We’re hiring a senior designer to lead projects, not just work on them. You’ll own a few client projects at a time, with one or two designers helping you execute. Chris stays close to clients at the top level. Day to day, you’re the design lead: you set the direction, split up the work, review it and keep it moving.

What you’ll do

  • Lead two or three client projects at a time, from brief to handover

  • Be the design lead clients work with day to day: run reviews, present decisions and handle feedback

  • Plan and allocate work across one or two designers, and review what they produce

  • Own user flows end to end: map the journey, cover the edge cases, design every state

  • Design high-fidelity UI with sharp attention to spacing, type, hierarchy and consistency

  • Prototype core flows in Claude Code so clients can feel the product, not just see it

  • Create design systems from scratch, and extend existing client systems in Figma

  • Keep files, updates and handovers clean enough that anyone can pick them up

What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years in product design, with shipped work on web and mobile products

  • Experience leading projects and guiding other designers

  • Confident with clients: you can run a review, defend a decision and push back when needed

  • A portfolio that shows complex flows and the thinking behind them, not just polished screens

  • Strong grasp of UX and UI patterns, and the judgement to know when to break them

  • Advanced Figma: auto layout, components, variants, variables

  • Hands-on experience prototyping with Claude Code or similar AI coding tools

  • Organised and reliable: you plan the work, hit dates and flag risks early

  • Clear, professional written English

Nice to have

  • Experience creating and running design systems: tokens, components, documentation, governance

  • Experience designing AI products, agents or conversational interfaces

  • Crypto, DeFi or fintech product experience

  • Front-end familiarity (React, Tailwind) beyond prototyping

  • An agency or studio background, used to working across multiple clients
