Products that stand out when anyone can launch

Products people trust from the first touch

AI gets every team to 80% fast. The last 20%, where a product feels considered, trustworthy and clearly yours, is still the hard part, and it’s where most products stall. That’s the work I do: designing the right thing, the right way, in Figma or in code.

You work with me directly. I set the direction and do the work, with a small senior team and an AI workflow behind me, and 20+ years of shipping products, including six at Google.

Web and mobile products for funded teams, from first release to the one your users rely on every day. Designed with judgement, prototyped in code, handed over ready for you to ship.

What I do

What Halaska does

  • Product strategy
I work out what’s worth building before anything gets designed, and what to leave out.

  • Research & audits
I look at what you have, how people use it, and what’s missing. You get a clear view of what to fix first.

  • UX and UI
Flows that make sense on the first try, and interfaces that look like someone cared about every decision.

  • AI experiences
Interfaces for agents, assistants and AI-powered features that people understand and trust.

  • Mobile apps
iOS and Android products designed for how people actually use their phones.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer?

Can't find your answer?

1

What is design engineering?

Designing a product and building its interface in code, so what ships matches what was designed. I design the flows and the experience, then build working prototypes and production-ready UI your engineers can use.

2

Do you design AI products?

Yes. I design interfaces for AI products, including agents, assistants and AI-powered features, with a focus on making them easy to understand and trust. Clients include Retell AI, a voice agent platform.

3

Can you audit our existing product?

Yes. I look at your current product, how people use it and what’s missing, then give you a clear, prioritised view of what to fix first. It’s often the starting point for a partnership.

4

Do you also build the product?

I build the interface in code where it moves things faster, but I’m not a replacement for your engineering team. I design in Figma or in code, wherever it adds the most value, and hand over a design system your engineers ship from. When a funded team without engineers needs an MVP built, I scope it case by case with trusted engineering partners.

5

Do you design mobile apps?

Yes. I design iOS and Android apps as well as web products, from first release to the version your users rely on every day.

6

Do you work with crypto and fintech products?

Yes. I have deep experience designing crypto, trading and fintech products, including wallets, trading interfaces and prediction markets like Pascal. I focus on making complex financial products feel trustworthy to first-time users.
